Choosing the Right People
If you are surrounded by intelligent people who are effective and efficient then allow them to make a big difference in your business and life. If you are not surrounded by intelligence and effective people (these are people who need a lot of hand-holding after you have gone over something several times), then try to make them realize they are not a good fit for your business or ultimately let them go. I had to do this recently and it was not fun.
Letting people go is a hard pill to swallow. Soon after, I found the person that was the right fit, and I solved a major issue that has let another person on my staff become much more productive. I have found that making good hard decisions can have a positive compounding effect on my business for years to come. This is crucial if you want to transform your business.
